A famous American physician and Buddhist monk Kerzin Barry arrived in Kalmykia

Today arrived in Elista famous American doctor, researcher, and a Buddhist monk Venerable Barry Kerzin. He will participate in the International Forum “Buddhism: Philosophy of non-violence and compassion”, which will begin in Kalmykia on September 22.

This is the second visit to Kalmykia Kerzina Barry, and at a press conference at the airport, he told reporters that he was glad to meet again with residents of the republic, which in its last visit produced a big impression on him.

Central khurul Golden Abode of Buddha Shakyamuni International Forum “Buddhism: Philosophy of non-violence and compassion” will be held in Kalmykia. September 22 to October 2, the main temple of Kalmykia, the only Buddhist republic in Europe, will open its doors to members of the International Forum scale “Buddhism: Philosophy of non-violence and compassion,” which is an initiative of shadzhin Kalmykia Lama Telo Tulku Rinpoche.

Away from Buryatia and Tuva, Moscow and St. Petersburg, Mongolia, Thailand, India and the United States will gather for a round table to discuss the vital problems of modern society, to a thoughtful decision today which calls on Buddhist spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Kalmyk Children Classes in South Jersey

Kalmyk Children Classes in South Jersey (USA). Alta Buruschkin and his wife, Udbala, would like to open their house in South Jersey for children’s classes on Kalmyk history, culture, customs and basic Buddhist classes.

They would like to hold these classes every other Saturday beginning October 3rd at 11am. The target group is 8-18 years old but can be flexible.
