Partial repairs and improvements to church buildings of the Elista Diocese in the districts of the Republic of Kalmykia

In addition, evenings of Orthodox and sacred music, educational lectures and meetings, as well as the release of gift and souvenir products are planned.

The culmination will be events from September 9 to 11, 2026: solemn religious services, the “Path of Light” procession, and a forum for religious tour operators in Elista.

The key event will be the reburial of the main witness to the appearance of Christ in Elista, Semyon Bondarenko.
