In the sunny South, in the picturesque Lagansky region of mysterious Kalmykia, wise Kalmyk organizers have expanded the 2026 Lotus Festival Program.

In addition to the sporting competitions, festival guests will enjoy a rich musical and cultural program, a local source in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Kalmykia reported today.

What awaits you:

• performance by cover band NORTAN;
• concert of the group HAGRIN – bright representatives of ethno-electropunk;
• open microphone “Voice of the Steppe”;
• a concert featuring Galina Marfina, associate professor at the V.S. Popov Academy of Choral Art, laureate of international competitions;
• incendiary DJ sets.

Residents and visitors to the mysterious land of Kalmykia will be able to hear epic songs.

A special part of the program will be an evening of storytellers—live performances of excerpts from the heroic epic “Dzhangar”, allowing each guest to experience the rich cultural heritage of the Kalmyk people.
