As many respected scholars of Oriental studies suppose – Kalmykia is the second birthplace of fairy tales after India. And for good reasons.
We have many stories of different genres: heroic tales (baatrlgch tuuls), magic tales (sidtya tuuls), everyday stories and many others! Kalmyk Folklore is really rich.
