The inauguration of the President of the Republic of Kalmykia Kirsan Iliumzhinov took place in Elista on Saturday November 23, 2002. It was held at the broadened session of the People’s Khural (Parliament) of the Republic of Kalmykia.
Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has been re-elected the President of the Republic of Kalmykia. For the third time he has had honour to swear alligiance to the people of the Republic of Kalmykia. November 21, 2002The international seminar on the theme “The regional legislation and the European standards in the field of human rights” took place in Rostov-on-Don on 14-16 of November. The seminar was organized by South-Russian Parliamentary Assosiation, the Staff of the Plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in the South Federal District, Rostov center of civil and legal education in cooperation with the Counsil of Europe.
