12th of june the Second Republican Festival Sedklin Ais will take place in Elista, Kalmykia. According to Tutorial department of KalmykiaNews it has been organized by Public Council of kalmyk language development of the Head of Kalmykia Republic and The Young teachers of kalmyk language. In this festival will take part in teams of Kalmykia’s ministries and Elista’s administration department.
It will start at 2 p.m. in the State Concert Hall.

Programmer Alexey Zunov developed an application “Khalmg Keln” for iOS

8th February 2014 Alexey Zunov presented the application «Halmg Keln» for iOS platform (Kalmyk language). The application on top 100 of the free download applications in «Education category».
The application provides two vocabularies: from Russian to Kalmyk and from Kalmyk to Russian, also the App. provides the education service based on push up messages.
Recently the App. has been upgraded, now you can look for blessing words (Kalmyk “Yoryal”) and also you can send messages in Kalmyk language to the Vkontakte social network. (more…)
