Information from mysterious Kalmykia about upcoming sporting events of the Lotus Festival 2026

This year’s Festival will take place on August 8th and 9th in the cozy southern town of Lagan and the village of Dzhalykovo in Kalmykia’s Lagansky District, and its program will be even more exciting.

Blooming begins!

In the warm south, in mysterious Kalmykia, the first tulips have bloomed, a local source in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Kalmykia reported today, March 30, 2026.

Residents of the Russian Federation have been given the opportunity to check into hotels without presenting a passport using the Unified Biometric System.
