Tulip Festival Blooming begins!

In the warm south, in mysterious Kalmykia, the first tulips have bloomed, a local source in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Kalmykia reported today, March 30, 2026.

Schoolchildren from the northern city of Moscow were the first to see the tulips. The young Muscovites visited Kalmykia during spring break, according to the head of the Tourism Department of the Kalmykia tourism portal. (more…)
